Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take payment plans?

We do not do in-house billing. Payment is expected during service, and estimates are provided upon request and for all surgeries and hospitalizations.

What options are available if I cannot afford payment?

We take CareCredit, a revolving credit card for medical services, and ScratchPay, a short-term loan for veterinary services. You can find more information here.

Do you take checks?

We do not take checks. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER, debit cards, CareCredit, ScratchPay, and cash.

I found a stray animal, will you take it?

We are unable to take in stray animals due to our limited kennel space. Animal Care and Protective Services are set up for stray intake. Their number is (904) 630-2489.

What are your boarding requirements?

Cats must be up to date on their Rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Dogs must be up to date on their Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines; it is highly recommended for dogs to have a flu vaccine when boarding, but it is not required.

Can I pick up my pet from boarding over the weekend?

Our Saturday hours are 8 am to 12 pm, and pets may be picked up from boarding during our open hours. Due to safety reasons, we cannot discharge boarding pets during non-open hours.
